Tooth Extraction Specialist

Meet Dr. Meeks
Dr. Darrell A. Meeks
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
​
Dr. Darrell A. Meeks was born in Richmond, Kentucky. He attended undergraduate college at The University of Kentucky where he received his BS in Chemistry & Biology. Upon graduation, he attended The University of Kentucky Dental College. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Meeks entered a four year Residency at Washington University & St. Johns Mercy Medical center in St. Louis, MO. where he completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Meeks is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), The American Dental Association (ADA), The Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons and The Tidewater Dental Association. He has practiced in the Tidewater area for over 20 years.
​
Dr. Meeks has been married to his wife, Nancy, since 1982 and they have three children; Grant, Gabriel, and Jacqueline. Outside of the office, Dr. Meeks enjoys spending time with his family, attending Blue Grass Festivals, and sports that include basketball, fishing, and hunting.

Payment Policy

All services are provided and billed by the office. Our Surgeon participates in most all of the major dental insurance plans in the region. Following are the dental plans which we currently accept.

If your plan is not listed, we will still be happy to file your out of network claim for you.
Please be aware that with any health or dental plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible.

ALL payments and/or co-payments are due at the time of surgery. Personal Checks are not accepted in office. For your convenience we do accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, Apple Pay and cash payments.
